Firetruck visit

Our carbon monoxide detectors were going off today and I couldn't get them to shut off, so we had to call the fire department. They told us to get everyone out of the house and close the doors and windows so they could find the leak. We told Griffin we had to go get in the car cause the firetruck was coming to our house and he said "wahoo!!" so funny.

Griff got to ride his motorcycle outside in the sunshine for a little bit and he was in HEAVEN!! So funny to see the determined look on his face like he's racing someone.

The BIG 38??

What the heck... that sounds older than we are. Telly turned 38 today. I think he had a pretty awesome day/week. He skied 4 days this week!! One of the days was suppose to be in a snow cat, but the wheel fell off the snow-cat, so they had to ski in big fresh power at the resort instead. They were pretty disappointed to say the least. Telly said it was still good skiing, but it could have been amazing. So thankful for Telly today who does so big and dreams so big, especially for our family. Love him!!

Fun cousin day! We met Katie at McDonalds in Hyrum for a little lunch and play time. $4.5 hours later, the kids were saying they were hungry and needed some dinner. That's when Katie knew it was time to be done. I left a little before Katie with Livi and Taggert to get a few things at the grocery store. Tagg was sooo tired and I knew he was going to fall asleep in the car so Livi came with  me to sit in the car while I ran in real quick. I called Katie when I came out of the store and they were still there playing...cousins are the best.

BUSY, BUSY week!!

I haven't done a post almost all week, so I'll sum up the week in one post. Tuesday we went down and watched Heather's girls and Ems house while she went to Midway to celebrate Heidi's b-day (that's almost as good as San Fran, right?). Telly didn't have mutual that night, which is always nice. Wednesday Griff had his new tumbling class. He cried for a minute at the beginning, but then really liked it. Then we picked Macee up from school and went to the Jump Zone, which is great cause there aren't any big kids there. I got my hair cut and colored, rushed home had dinner then the kids had swim lessons. It was so funny to watch them. They are doing a private lesson together. Griffin kept trying to drown himself cause he is use to swimming with arm wings and the teacher was having to convince Macee it was ok to put her face in the water. Soo, funny!! Thursday we picked Macee up from school again and met my neighbors at the Fun Park and let the kids ride bikes and scooter and climb in the jungle gym. Then Macee had dance, we picked up some medicine for Telly to take on his ski trip, dropped that off to him, ate some dinner, then I went and taught the First Aid merit badge to the 11 yr old Scouts. Put the boys to bed, helped Macee do some homework until 9:30, laid down with her, fell asleep til 2:00 and got in my bed. Macee and Griff made it to my bed by 4:00. Then we woke up and we're ready todo it all again. Whew!! I'm exhausted!!

One good ski day...

Griffin's first ski day and the crazy-nut was, well, a crazy-nut. He just wanted to go, no brakes for this kid. He plum wore his dad out and his mom couldn't even handle him. Macee and I had a few good runs. She is quite the little skier. It was a fun, fun day. Can't wait for Tagg to get just a little bigger so he can come too.

A Sunday at home. Ribs for dinner, Griffin wore underwear after church and did a pretty good job keeping them dry. It wasn't until right before bed he had an accident. I taught RS today and it was a rough one. There were't very many people there, which always makes for rough discussion, but it's over with now and I can start getting ready for next month. I'm itchin' to get some projects done around our house, but it's hard when little hands ALWAYS gravitate to open paint cans, right? I should just let them and capture the handprint on paper, now that's a great idea...

Valentines par-tay

We went to a little friend get-together for Valentines Day and enjoyed some treats and had a few good laughs. The kids were super tired, so we didn't stay too late, but still it was fun to get out for the evening.

Friday, whew!!

It's Friday and I'm happy the weekend is here. Planning on straightening up the house and finishing my RS lesson for Sunday. If I can get all that done, I might be able to finish up the kids new room downstairs. Nothing too exciting. If I can find a sitter, Telly and I might go on a Valentines date. Now that's exciting, right??

Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!! Here's some photos of the day. I should have taken a picture earlier in the day while everyone was still dressed and clean. Macee has on her leotard from dance and the boys are very dirty from Jamba Juice. We had a lovely spaghetti dinner and Macee decorated the table like a professional party planner.

RS karaoke

I had a Relief Society meeting tonight. They had a panel of married couples answering questions, hot chocolate and KARAOKE to wrap it all up. Pretty funny to see the people in my ward tearing up the tunes in the Relief Society room. Good times had by all.

Basement closets, FINALLY!!

So the guys are here putting the closets (and a few other little projects) in the basement bedrooms. It's only been over three years since the basement has been done. So excited to move the kids down and have a place for a few things downstairs. YEAH!!

Swimming FHE

We took the kids swimming to the Sports Academy tonight for FHE. Griffin is a crazy man in the water. He likes going under the water, jumping off the side straight onto his bum and trying flips off the side of the pool. He hasn't made it yet and every time he says "shoot" cause he didn't actually do the flip. we laugh pretty hard at that kid. Taggert does not like the water and Macee warms up to it and by the end she doesn't want to get out.  It wears the kids out and makes us laugh.

Busy Sunday! Hardly felt like a Sunday cause I was so busy. Started with choir practice, then watched Kelsey play the piano in their ward then got ribs ready to cook while at church, had Trevor, Kelsey, Cheri, Dave, Heidi & Claire over for dinner, New Beginnings then a Girls Camp meeting. Got home after 9:00 and the kids were all asleep. Ahhhh, now I can work on my RS lesson for next week. P.S. a month ago I was in Hawaii.

New Kids Room

Gonna try and get the paint done in the kids room today. WOW it's taken a long time to get this project done! Wish me luck.

Book Club

Met with the Book Club girls tonight, ate good food and did much talking until way too late. Overall a successful night. I finished the book for the month earlier today and I liked it. It was The Book Thief and now I'll start next months book. Happy listening to me.

Are we bored yet??

I'm thinking my post are getting a little boring...yawn! Taggert learned how to cross his fingers today. Soo funny. He was very proud of himself and we all laughed pretty hard. I think I need to potty train Griffin, but I'm not too excited about it and I keep putting it off. I'll start next week...

Valentine Suckers

The YM came over tonight and made suckers for the YW in our ward, so the kids and I made a test batch right before they came. I was expecting the kids to have fun, but Macee got burnt with the pan and Tagg was crying and wanted to be held and Griff just wanted to eat the sugar. Good effort and everyone enjoyed a sucker at the end, just a little rough getting there. Macee had an orthodontist appointment today and he said to come back in 6 months for some spacers to help her cross bite. He told me to start saving our money to get her teeth fixed. Soo funny.

Monday, Monday...

I sure have songs for my blog titles a lot. Kinda funny. Telly worked late tonight and he had a meeting for a foundation committee he's on. Sooo, the kids and I had a nice long day together and overall a pretty good day. The tooth fairy visited Macee and left her some money so we all took a trip to the Dollar Store to buy some treasures (a.k.a cheap junk, but it makes the kids happy). Taggert and Griffin have been sleeping in the upstairs room together the last few nights and it's actually gone ok. I'm still working on getting a room ready for Macee & Griff downstairs. It's a slow project, but it's getting there.  Just found out today our neighbors are putting their house up for sale, which is a bummer cause I really like their family. I'm gonna sit and relax for a little bit before bed...ahhhh.

Superbowl Sunday

We had a good day watching the Superbowl after church with friends. Macee lost a second tooth and was super excited about it.  She also slept all night in her bed again. Love it!!

Double ear infection and a baptism

Grant got baptized today, so we spent the morning with family. Before we came home we stopped at the trampoline park. The kids had a blast!! Seriously so fun. Tagg wasn't feeling so great so I mostly was just holding him and watching the other kids (and Telly) play. Once we got home, I took Tagg to the Insta Care and he has double ear infections. Poor kid. He should finally start feeling better. I hope the kids sleep like rocks since we wore them out today.

Friday Night Date

We went out with the "cult-de-sac" tonight to Kabuke Steak House. We had a good time. Tagg still isn't feeling so great, but was good enough to leave with a sitter for a couple hours. The kids had pizza for dinner and had a blast without us. Tagg was pretty funny today. I would ask him what a bear says and he'd growl, but his voice is raspy from being sick so it sounded funny.  He'd growl then he'd giigle cause it sounded so funny.
