Happy 4th of July

Longhurst Mortgage was in the Hyrum Parade. Macee rode on the float with the kids and Griffin sat in the truck and waved at all the people. Tagg was a good little baby and enjoyed the truck ride through the parade route. I had no idea so many people went to the Hyrum Parade

Introducing Taggert...

Taggert has arrived! I was induced so I wouldn't miss my antibiotics and most importantly my epidural. Both VERY important, in my opinion. Of course, everyone that took care of us was fabulous (Dawn, Peggy, Anne, Courtney, Debbie, Steffanie, Jill). We're so excited to get to know this little guy..

Homemade

This is my homemade shelf. It's been very handy for Griffin to sit on for a few months, but I'm ready to get rid of it now.

Griffin #1 Birthday!

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to...I really thought Griff was going to give a good cake destroying show, but it was quite the opposite. He liked the cars on the cake, but as soon as he touched the frosting he was crying. I thought maybe if he tasted some frosting he would like it, but he started gagging and then he didn't want anything to do with it. So funny! I cleaned him up and he ate a roll in his high chair opened some presents and was happy to be apart of the chaos. He's such a sweet boy and we love having him in our family!

This is what I've been working on...

Projects always take me so long to finish, but here are a few I've finished and a few I'm still working on.

My first quilt I made for Griffin. Not quite finished yet, but working on it. I had lots of help on this one (thanks Skye O & Denise).

I canned peaches and did my first salsa this year-done!
Tried a new recipe-fried Zucchini. Got the recipe from a neighbor and loved it-done and will do again.

Much Thanks!!

Thanksgiving with the Andersen Clan at my mom & dad's house. Much food, much pie and much noise. We are definitely a loud group, but we sure have fun. I am growing up, and made a pumpkin pie and a coconut cream pie to add to the large pie table-pretty proud of myself. The kids made gingerbread houses after dinner and the girls scouted out the good deals for Black Friday shopping.

More Halloween!

We had Grandma Neices famous Halloween party with games, yummy food, treasure hunts, mummy making and good family hang out time. Skye & Braken came to trick-or-treat with us. We made tin-foil dinners and the kids went and begged for candy. They lasted longer than I thought they would in the rain, but had to warm up by the fire after. Griffin got a Harley Davidson tatoo that lasted for weeks. Macee was having fun answering the door for the trick-or-treaters until she got scared at some little boy's costume. She opened the door, let a a high pitch scream, then slammed the door in his face-poor kid.
